We love Center Island, Washington! We have a tiny cabin on half an acre there. The island is remote -- you need to take a ferry to the "big island" of Lopez, then take a private boat another three miles to Center Island and walk half a mile to our place.

The water around the island teems with fish and crabs and shrimp so we asked our good friends Steve and Julie Thompson to teach us to fish. Here is the video of our first outting with Steve.
